Magical Marriages had the pleasure of working a wedding at the Texas Federation of Women's Mansion on October 10, 2009. The Mansion is an Austin Historic Landmark and listed with the National Register of Historic places and what'a wonderful place for a ceremony and reception.

Magical Marriages is happy to announce a new sevice with Pixel Launcher, Websites in a Week! Pixel Launcher created by Melinda Ledbetter and owner of Magical Marriages, is now offering websites to anyone in the wedding industry at a reasonable rate.

We pulled it off, YAY! Magical Marriages planned a full-fledged Chinese & American wedding in less than three months and we were so honored to be part of it.  Congratulations to Vivian and Hugh who married at the First Unitarian Church of Austin and a white wedding it was.  As they walked down the isles they were greeted by a white floral runner, glittered ribbon and shiny tulle, hydrangea and white rose kissing balls, and of course, white rose petals. The crowd couldn’t even imagine what was next.

We recently had the pleasure of assisting Joy and Tony for their wedding at the One World Theatre on August 1, 2009.  It was such a beautiful and inspiring wedding that we hope to continue helping more and more bridal couples at this venue.  The ceremony and reception certainly spoke for itself and the staff was great!  Joy and Tony were such an awesome couple to work with that we hope to see them again soon and keep in touch as they grow a life together.

What is your favorite restaurant in Austin?  I can honestly say I've yelped and spotted restaurants numerously and still believe my favorite on the list is Chez Nous.

The newest trend for weddings is to get married somewhere different, somewhere fun and entertaining.  The One World Theatre and Austin's Alamo Drafthouse have become more and more popular for receptions and highly recommended for people who really enjoy technology.  What's better than having a high-def projector, playing clips of Princess Bride, Father of the Bride or The Wedding Planner and having the ability to order pretty much anything you want from the menu?
